Sourcefire/ClamAV don't seem to have anything written either way but they still have documentation describing how to set up milter, which would be a violation of the patent.


I guess a clear winner/loser still hasn't been determined yet, or there is a private gentleman's agreement between clamAV and Trend Micro to not pursue this further or some nuclear patent portfolios would be unleashed.
