I noticed that there are two versions of squid on the system and the default is 3.0. I'm looking in a way to make squid cache dynamic content as the youtube videos.
I see this as a way but it requires older versions of squid:

http://cachevideos.com/ | I checked that website and it looks like it should work with our system, however there currently isn't a debian package available for it so you would have to compile it from source (see question Installation:Q2 http://cachevideos.com/faqs).
Some other sites mentioned some concerns about this program as it basically breaks the HTTP standard since the videos are marked as dynamic non-cacheable content. |
