we're considering using Vyatta as a router for around 600 customers, each of whom may need their own vLAN, all muxed in on a single Ethernet interface.

is there any upper limit on the number of vLANs (i.e. VIF sub-interfaces)?

also, will VC6 or VC6.1 support bridging all the vLANS in an IRB-style setup?
