Greetings,
I need to compile the VC6.4 kernel (to track down a kernel panic).
I got as far as git clone http://git.vyatta.com/linux-vyatta.git linux-image
and then setup the oxnard branch.
I did it in build-iso/pkgs directory. But "make linux-image" command does not work because debian/control is missing.
Can someone please give me the step-by-step on how to build the kernel?

In the 'pkgs/linux-image directory' run 'debian/bin/gencontrol.py' then run 'debuild -uc -us -i -b'

I think You have to select different options as per your need. Each configuration option has HELP button associated with it so select help button to get help.
